We have found it is not just about singing but learning music in many different forms so if you are after more than just singing we offer. Songwriting courses, Music Theory Classes all giving you Performance Opportunities, and the option of ABRSM, Trinity or ROCK SCHOOL exams with highly qualified teachers. What to expect on your first Singing lesson?
Don't let the fear stop you. Your first voice lesson or class can be nerve-racking, especially if you’ve never sang in front of another person before. But from so many years of experience teaching and singing we at the Singing Studio believe the outcome outweighs the fear of that first lesson. To help put you at a little more ease, here’s an overview of what you can expect on your first lesson.
We’ll review your background, your musical interests, and vocal goals.
We’ll ask you to sing a small scale and maybe a short song to get to get a sense for your unique voice
We’ll customise a set of scales and exercises to focus on your technical vocal development, and then will apply it to a song of your choice
We’ll discuss your options for lessons going forward, and schedule a regular lesson time to continue to strengthen your voice and confidence.
